How to use the INBDE Prep study board
The study board is free and needs no account. Here is what each part does.
Create a quiz
Open Quiz and set each parameter: quiz type (Study, Test untimed, Test timed), single questions or patient cases, topics, a keyword, which questions to include (unseen, missed, flagged, due and more), number of questions and order. Save a setup as a preset to reuse it.
Quiz types
- Study mode: answer, then see the explanation straight away.
- Test, untimed: answer everything first; the score and explanations come at the end.
- Test, timed: a countdown at the official exam pace, or a limit you choose.
Review and stats
Review schedules questions using spaced repetition. Stats shows accuracy by discipline, coverage, trends and a study streak.
Useful tools inside a question
- Cross out options, flag questions and keep private notes.
- Patient cases keep the case description beside each question.
- Keyboard shortcuts: A to E to choose, Enter to submit or continue, arrows to move, F to flag, ? for help.
Your data stays with you
Progress is saved in your browser only; there are no accounts and nothing is sent to a server. Export a backup in Settings to move to another device or to keep a copy.
Quality notes
- Some questions were written for other formats and may not match the real exam style.
- A small number have a disputed answer key and are marked; they are left out of timed tests.
- Questions that need an image we do not have yet are marked and left out of timed tests.
- Always verify against current guidelines and official exam information.
